A cork floating floor is an engineered product consisting of panels made up of a compact high density fibreboard (HDF) layer, a bonded surface layer of hard-wearing agglomerated cork floor covering and a built-in underlay of soft agglomerated cork.
The HDF core material is tongued and grooved with a special profile design to allow the panels to be assembled together manually, without the use of glue. This is also commonly known as the click-in system. The edges of each panel elements are protected by a moisture repellent sealing agent.
